Job Title: Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) - Manchester Area
Location: Manchester
Start: ASAP | Full-Time (Monday-Friday) | Salary: £106-£120 per day (depending on experience)

We are looking for a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Unqualified SEN TA to join a school in the Manchester area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs, helping them learn, grow, and succeed. Child experience is desirable but not essential - transferable skills from mentoring, coaching, care roles, or other relevant experience are welcome.

Key Requirements:

• Must have own car for travel to school

• Caring, patient, and willing to assist with personal care

• Experience or confidence in dealing with behavioural challenges

• Reliable, motivated, and team-oriented

• Strong communication skills and adaptable to different situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in classroom activities and small group work

• Assist pupils with SEN in learning, engagement, and social development

• Support with personal care and manage challenging behaviour where required

• Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment

• Adapt learning materials and provide 1:1 or group support as needed
