We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming SEN School in Bolton with an immediate start available.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them reach their full potential in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with Special Educational Needs.

  • Support children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and associated learning needs.

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities and interventions.

  • Help maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Support pupils with communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation.

  • Monitor and record pupil progress where required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a school setting is essential.

  • Experience supporting pupils with ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition).

  • A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
