About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Blackley. This is a full-time position available for an immediate start, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across primary or secondary age groups, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and moderate learning difficulties.
Support the implementation of EHCPs and Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Adapt learning materials to meet the individual needs of pupils.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor progress and provide feedback.
Promote positive behaviour management strategies and emotional regulation.
Support pupils during lessons, transitions, breaktimes, and school activities.
Assist with personal care where required.
Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Experience working with children or young people with SEND in a school, care, or youth setting.
A calm, patient, and resilient nature.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) - desirable but not essential.
