Teaching Assistants - Secondary SEN School (Bolton)
Start Date: ASAP

A friendly and inclusive secondary SEN school in Bolton is looking to recruit Teaching Assistants to join their team with an immediate start.

The role involves supporting pupils with a variety of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs. You will play a key role in helping pupils access learning, build confidence and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support

  • Supporting pupils within the classroom environment

  • Assisting with learning activities and tailored programmes

  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

  • Working closely with teachers and the wider SEN team

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential)

  • A calm, patient and caring approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A genuine interest in supporting pupils with additional needs
