Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs and making a real difference in their education? We are looking for dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Preston, supporting pupils from EYFS to Year 6.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with relevant SEN experience, whether you're already working in schools or looking to move into a rewarding support role. While qualifications are desirable, experience working with SEN children is essential.
What you will be doing:
Supporting children with SEN in class and during targeted interventions
Assisting with personalised learning plans and behaviour strategies
Helping pupils develop confidence, independence, and social skills
Working alongside teachers and SENCOs to deliver high-quality support
Providing a calm, patient, and positive presence in the classroom
What we're looking for:
Experience supporting children with SEN (essential)
Confidence working across EYFS to Year 6
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
Flexibility to work full-time or part-time

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
