SEND Teaching Assistant - Full Time
Location: Stockport
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Agency (initially) - Long-Term until Easter, with potential to extend

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Stockport on a full-time basis.

This role is offered via an agency initially and is a long-term placement until Easter, with a strong opportunity to extend for the right candidate.

The Role:

• Supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a secondary school setting

• Working closely with teaching staff to support learning, behaviour, and emotional needs

• Providing personal care where required

• Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups

• Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience supporting children or young people with SEND (school-based experience preferred)

• Be patient, caring, and resilient

• Be comfortable with and experienced in personal care

• Have a genuine passion for supporting young people in education

• Be reliable and able to commit to a full-time, long-term role
