SEN Teaching Assistant - Mixed Primary & Secondary Provision
Location: Chorley
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:45-15:15
Pay: £98 per day
Contract: Term-time only | Temp-to-Perm opportunities available
Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs? We are currently recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant to work across a mixed primary and secondary specialist provision, providing tailored support to pupils with learning difficulties, communication needs, and social, emotional challenges.
This is a rewarding role where every day is different, offering the chance to make a real, positive impact on pupils who need consistency, patience, and encouragement.
What you'll be doing:
Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups to access learning
Assisting with emotional regulation, communication and social development
Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
Working closely with teaching staff and support teams
Encouraging independence and personal development
Willingness to support with personal care when required

Experience working with additional needs is desirable, but not essential - a positive attitude, patience, and commitment to pupil wellbeing are what really matter.
