SEN Teaching Assistant - Specialist Provisions (Central Lancashire)

📍 Locations: Preston, Chorley & Leyland
🕒 Hours: Full-Time, Term Time Only (08:30am - 3:30pm)
💰 Pay: £106 - £115 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role:
We are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to join a number of specialist provisions across Central Lancashire, including Preston, Chorley, and Leyland.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You'll work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that helps every student achieve their full potential.

What We're Looking For:
✅ No previous school experience required - full support and guidance provided
✅ A resilient, proactive, and compassionate attitude
✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✅ Genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs

Desirable experience includes:

• Working within support work, care, or healthcare roles

• Having personal experience supporting a family member or friend with additional needs

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of employment references with no large gaps in employment

• Must hold an Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (UDS) or be willing to apply and pay for one prior to starting
