We're proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive SEN school in Stalybridge, Greater Manchester who are seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.
The school provides full-time education for students aged 14-16 in a modern, well-equipped school designed to support students with ASD.
The Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will:
- Provide individualised support to students with a variety of SEN needs.
- Work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver personalised learning and care plans.
- Support pupils in the classroom and during off-site activities.
- Assist with personal care and mobility needs (full training provided).
- Help create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment where children can flourish.
About You:
We're looking for someone who is:
- Empathetic, patient, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
- Able to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and colleagues.
- Proactive, flexible, and a team player with a "can-do" attitude.
- Experience in an SEN or care setting is desirable - but a caring nature and willingness to learn are what matter most!
