We're proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary SEN school in Glossop, Greater Manchester who are seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.

The school is a small, nurturing specialist setting supporting children aged 7-11 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities. With a maximum of 36 pupils and over 9 dedicated teaching rooms, the environment is tailored to provide a calm, supportive, and engaging space where every child can thrive.

The Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Provide individualised support to students with a variety of SEN needs.
  • Work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver personalised learning and care plans.
  • Support pupils in the classroom and during off-site activities.
  • Assist with personal care and mobility needs (full training provided).
  • Help create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment where children can flourish.

About You:

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Empathetic, patient, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
  • Must be a car driver.
  • Able to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and colleagues.
  • Proactive, flexible, and a team player with a "can-do" attitude.
  • Experience in an SEN or care setting is desirable - but a caring nature and willingness to learn are what matter most!
