SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking patient, resilient and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support children with additional needs in primary schools across Lancaster. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with the flexibility to choose your preferred age group - EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience working in a school or directly with children is essential
A relevant qualification such as Level 2/3 in Teaching and Learning, Childcare or SEN support is preferred
Experience supporting pupils with SEN, SEMH or challenging behaviour is highly desirable
Ability to build trust and provide 1:1 or small group support
Calm, adaptable and confident in using positive behaviour strategies
Able to follow individual learning or behaviour plans set by the class teacher or SENCO

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
