Contract: Full-time, long-term (temp to perm opportunity available)

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and making a real difference in the classroom? Spencer Clarke Group are working with a welcoming school in Preston who are looking to appoint an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to start immediately.

The Role:

• Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and communication needs.

• Assist with lesson delivery and classroom activities under the guidance of the class teacher.

• Support children with their emotional, social, and behavioural development.

• Encourage independence and engagement in learning through a supportive, patient approach.

• Work closely with staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure every pupil thrives.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience supporting children with SEN (school, care, or alternative provision settings all considered).

• Resilience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to different needs.

• Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).

• A genuine passion for helping young people reach their potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
