Spencer Clarke Group are currently working with a welcoming school in Blackley who are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.

This is a full-time position, starting after October half term, with the potential to transition from a temporary contract to a permanent role for the right candidate.

The Role:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with Special Educational Needs.

• Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

• Support pupils with their social, emotional, and educational development.

• Implement strategies to help pupils overcome barriers to learning.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have previous experience working with children with SEN (e.g. Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Speech & Language difficulties).

• Be patient, nurturing, and resilient with a positive attitude.

• Be confident working as part of a team as well as independently.

• Hold relevant qualifications or transferable experience (desirable but not essential).
