SEN Teaching Assistant - Full-Time | Blackpool Primary School
Start Date: ASAP Hours: 32.5 hours per week Pay: Competitive and above national average
Make a real difference this September: Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? Spencer Clarke Group is proud to be working with a vibrant, inclusive mainstream school in Blackpool to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a September start.
This long-term role will see you providing 1:1 support to a child with autism, helping them to thrive both academically and emotionally within a nurturing classroom environment.
Your role will involve: - Delivering consistent 1:1 support tailored to the needs of a pupil with autism - Assisting the class teacher with differentiated activities and classroom routines - Supporting emotional regulation and encouraging positive social behaviour - Using structured, personalised strategies to create a calm and purposeful learning space
We're looking for someone who: - Has experience working with children with SEN (education or care settings welcome) - Remains calm under pressure and has a compassionate, patient approach - Is adaptable, proactive, and committed to making a positive impact - Doesn't need to be qualified - your experience and mindset matter most

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
