Hours: 08:30 - 15:30

Pay: £106 per day

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a team at a school in Blackpool. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the teaching staff to provide support to pupils with special educational needs or disabilities, as well as those who require additional support with their learning.

Responsibilities: - Work with the class teacher to plan and deliver lessons that cater to the individual needs of pupils

- Provide one-to-one support to pupils who require extra help with their learning, including those with special educational needs or disabilities

- Assist with classroom management and behaviour management, ensuring that pupils are engaged and motivated to learn

- Provide pastoral support to pupils, including emotional support, mentoring and advice

- Liaise with parents and carers to keep them informed of their child's progress and any concerns that may arise

Requirements: - Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational or care setting

- A compassionate and caring attitude towards children and young people

- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines

- A willingness to undergo training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
