We are an independent SEN school seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary SEMH Teacher to join our team as soon as possible.
This role involves working with primary-aged pupils who present with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Our pupils are often anxious learners and may display challenging behaviour, so we are looking for a teacher who is patient, resilient and skilled in building strong, trusting relationships.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging, tailored lessons that meet individual needs, promote emotional regulation and support positive behaviour. A strong understanding of trauma-informed practice, behaviour management strategies and adaptive teaching approaches is essential.
The successful candidate will be passionate about making a difference, able to create a calm and structured learning environment, and confident working as part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team.
Experience working in SEN and/or SEMH settings is highly desirable. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
