About the role:
You will lead a class team to plan and deliver differentiated lessons for Post-16, integrating communication strategies and therapy advice. The role includes supporting academic, vocational, and life-skills learning, ensuring progress against EHCP targets.
We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:
- Create engaging, personalised learning plans
- Foster positive behaviour and communication using structured approaches
- Collaborate with therapists, support staff, and families
- Assess and track progress effectively
Requirements:
The ideal candidate would have:
- QTS/QTLS with proven SEN teaching experience
- Knowledge of AAC, sensory integration, and structured teaching approaches
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
