SEN Teacher - Longsight (Full-Time, November Start)

Contract: Full-Time (via Spencer Clarke Group)

Are you a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher ready to make a real difference in the lives of children with complex needs?
Spencer Clarke Group are currently working with a caring and inclusive school in Longsight to recruit a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher for a full-time position starting in November.

The Role

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons to pupils with complex learning, communication, and sensory needs. Working closely with a team of support staff and specialists, you'll create a nurturing environment where every child can achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality, individualised lessons for children with complex needs.

• Develop and implement EHCP targets and personalised learning plans.

• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents to support holistic development.

• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.

• Track pupil progress and adapt strategies to ensure meaningful outcomes.

About You

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Experience working with pupils with SEN and complex needs (e.g. autism, PMLD, SLD, or SEMH).

• A creative and flexible approach to teaching.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A passion for supporting children to overcome barriers and achieve success.
