Spencer Clarke Group are working closely with a welcoming school in Longsight who are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to join their team.
This is a full-time, term-time role, starting after 13th October 2025, with the opportunity to transition from a temporary position to a permanent role for the right candidate.
The Role:
Provide tailored 1:1 and small group behaviour support to pupils across the school.
Work alongside teachers and pastoral staff to implement behaviour management strategies.
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Help pupils to develop social and emotional resilience, ensuring they feel safe and supported.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have previous experience supporting children or young people with behavioural needs.
Be calm, patient, and resilient, with strong behaviour management skills.
Be a confident team player with excellent communication skills.
Have a genuine passion for helping young people overcome barriers to learning.
