Are you a qualified English or Science teacher looking to make a real difference in a specialist setting? Do you have a passion for supporting students with special educational needs?

We are working with a well-resourced and supportive SEN secondary school in [Location], seeking a dedicated English or Science Teacher (QTS) to join their team. The school caters to pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional & mental health (SEMH) needs.

The Role:

• Teaching English or Science to students aged 11-16 with EHCPs
• Delivering differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
• Creating an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment
• Working closely with LSAs, therapists, and SENCOs to track progress and adapt strategies
• Full-time, long-term position with potential for permanency

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
✅ Experience teaching English or Science at secondary level
✅ A calm, adaptable and patient teaching style
✅ Passion for SEN and inclusive education
✅ Strong classroom management and communication skills
✅ Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
