Science Teacher - Maternity Cover

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our dedicated team on a maternity cover contract from January 2026. You will inspire students across KS3 and KS4 delivering engaging lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, and supporting pupils to achieve their best.

Responsibilities

• Teach Science across a range of year groups.
• Plan and deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based lessons.
• Monitor and assess student progress in line with school policies.
• Contribute to the wider life of the Science Department and school.

• A qualified teacher with QTS and strong subject knowledge.
• Passionate about inspiring young people in Science.
• Effective classroom management and communication skills.
• A collaborative and committed approach to teaching and learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
