School Sports Coach - SEND & SEMH Provision

£106-£110 per day
Full-Time | Term Time Only | ASAP Start
Monday-Friday | 8:30am-3:30pm

We are currently recruiting for a motivated and resilient School Sports Coach to work full-time within a specialist provision supporting children with SEND and SEMH additional needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity to use sport and physical activity to engage pupils, promote positive behaviour, and support emotional regulation within a structured school environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver structured sports sessions and physical activities

• Support students on a 1:1 and small group basis

• Promote teamwork, confidence, and positive behaviour

• Work closely with teaching and pastoral staff

• Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

Requirements

• Available Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm (term time only)

• Experience working with children or young people (SEND/SEMH desirable)

• Minimum 24 months of employment references with no unexplained gaps

• Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service or willingness to pay and apply for one

• Resilient, energetic, and confident managing behaviour
