School Sports Coach

Location: Chorley
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £107 - £115 per day (dependent on experience)
Hours: 08:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Term Time Only

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated School Sports Coach to work within a school setting in the Chorley area. This role involves delivering and supporting physical education and sports activities for primary and secondary aged students, promoting physical wellbeing, teamwork and positive engagement.

The Role:

• Delivering structured sports and physical activity sessions

• Supporting students during PE lessons and outdoor activities

• Encouraging participation, confidence and positive behaviour through sport

• Working alongside teaching staff to support curriculum and enrichment activities

• Supporting students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups where required

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a sports coach or within a school/youth setting

• Ability to engage and motivate children and young people through sport

• Experience working with students with additional needs is desirable

• Minimum of 24 months employment history, with no significant gaps

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (Child Workforce), or willingness to apply and pay for one

• Energetic, reliable and passionate about promoting healthy lifestyles
