Job Title: School Site Supervisor

Hours: Monday to Friday (Split Shift)

• Morning: 7:00am - 9:00am

• Afternoon: 3:00pm - 6:00pm

Job Purpose

We are seeking a reliable and proactive School Site Supervisor to ensure the school site is safe, secure, and well maintained throughout the school day. The successful candidate will play a key role in site security, health & safety, and the smooth running of the school premises.

Key Responsibilities

• Opening and securing the school site at the start and end of each day

• Carrying out regular health & safety checks across the school premises

• Monitoring site security, including gates, doors, and alarms

• Basic maintenance, repairs, and DIY tasks as required

• Liaising with contractors and monitoring works on site

• Setting up rooms for school activities, events, and meetings

• Responding to site-related issues and emergencies

• Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of external areas

• Reporting defects, hazards, and maintenance needs to senior staff

• Ensuring compliance with health & safety and safeguarding procedures

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience working within a school environment

• Good understanding of health & safety procedures

• Practical maintenance and caretaking skills

• Ability to work independently and use initiative

• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach

• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check

• Ability to provide satisfactory references
