We are currently recruiting School Site Assistants to support a range of schools across Manchester, Bury, and Bolton. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and want to play a key role in maintaining a safe and welcoming school environment.
The Role:
As a School Site Assistant, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, security, and general upkeep of school premises. No two days are the same, and you'll be a vital part of the school community.
Key Responsibilities:
Opening and closing school buildings
Carrying out basic maintenance and repairs
Ensuring the site is clean, safe, and secure
Supporting health & safety compliance
Assisting with setting up rooms for events or activities
Liaising with contractors when required
What We're Looking For:
Previous caretaking, maintenance, or site experience (preferred but not essential)
A proactive and hands-on approach
Strong reliability and punctuality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
