About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive School Site Assistant to join one of our welcoming schools in Maidenhead. This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible, ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-functioning school environment.
You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the school site, ensuring the premises are safe, secure, and ready for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Opening and closing the school site when required
Carrying out basic maintenance, repairs, and DIY tasks
Ensuring the school grounds and buildings are clean, safe, and well maintained
Supporting with deliveries, furniture moves, and room setups
Monitoring site security and reporting any issues
Conducting basic health and safety checks
Assisting with contractors and ensuring work is completed safely
What We're Looking For
Previous site, caretaker, maintenance, or facilities experience (school experience desirable but not essential)
Practical DIY and maintenance skills
A proactive and reliable approach to work
Good communication skills and ability to work independently
Understanding of health and safety procedures
An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
