Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
Pay: £18 per hour

Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic School Cook to join our team. The successful candidate will prepare nutritious meals for pupils, ensuring high standards of food hygiene and safety at all times. This role requires someone with experience in a school or similar setting and a strong commitment to providing excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals for pupils in line with school menus and dietary requirements.

• Maintain the kitchen and equipment to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

• Comply with all food safety and health & safety regulations.

• Assist in menu planning, stock ordering, and inventory management.

• Support the wider school staff team, helping ensure smooth kitchen and dining operations.

Person Specification:

• Previous experience as a cook in a school or similar environment is highly desirable.

• Must hold a valid DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one at personal expense.

• Must be able to provide references from the last 3 employers or evidence of 24 months' continuous employment.

• Strong organisational skills, reliability, and a positive attitude.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
