School Cleaner

Job Title: School Cleaner
Location: Accrington, Blackburn, Burnley & surrounding areas
Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm - 6:00pm
Pay Rate: £16.25 per hour

Job Overview:
We are looking for reliable and experienced School Cleaners to work at one school site per cleaner across Accrington, Blackburn, Burnley and surrounding areas. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas

• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting

• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately

• Cleaning and sanitising high-touch and high-use areas

• Adhering to health & safety and safeguarding procedures at all times

Essential Requirements:

• Previous professional cleaning experience

• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one at the candidate's own cost

• Willingness to undergo full reference checks

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

• Good attention to detail and high hygiene standards

Desirable:

• Experience cleaning within a school or similar setting
