Job Title: School Cleaner
Location: Blackpool
Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm - 6:00pm
Pay Rate: £16.25 per hour

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced School Cleaner to join our team in Blackpool. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the school premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for pupils and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• General cleaning of classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas

• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting

• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately

• Cleaning and sanitising touch points and high-use areas

• Following health & safety and safeguarding procedures at all times

Essential Requirements:

• Previous professional cleaning experience

• Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one at the candidate's own cost

• Willingness to undergo full reference checks

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

• Good attention to detail and understanding of hygiene standards

Desirable:

• Experience cleaning within a school or similar setting
