School Cleaner

Location: Wirral
Pay: £16.25 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm - 6:00pm (15 hours per week)
Contract: Term-time (plus deep cleans as required)

We are seeking a reliable and experienced School Cleaner to join our team at a school in the Wirral. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and understands the importance of hygiene in a school environment.

Key Responsibilities

• General cleaning of classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas

• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting

• Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly

• Cleaning and sanitising touch points and high-use areas

• Ensuring cleaning is completed to a high standard within allocated time

• Following health & safety and safeguarding procedures at all times

Essential Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• Previous professional cleaning experience (school or commercial preferred)

• Willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS check

• Ability to provide satisfactory references

• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic

• Ability to work independently and use initiative
