Job Title: School Cleaner
Location: Preston
Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm - 6:00pm
Pay Rate: £16.25 per hour

Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join our team at a primary school in Preston. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean classrooms, corridors, toilets, offices, and communal areas to a high standard.

• Empty bins, replenish supplies, and ensure all areas are left clean and tidy.

• Follow health and safety guidelines, including the safe use and storage of cleaning products.

• Carry out infection control cleaning, including disinfecting high-touch surfaces.

• Report any maintenance issues, damage, or health and safety concerns to the appropriate staff member.

• Work efficiently and independently while respecting the school environment.

Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience is essential, preferably within a school or similar setting.

• A strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work consistently Monday to Friday.

• Must be willing to undergo DBS and reference checks.

• Must be willing to pay for their own DBS certificate.
