Job Title: School Cleaner

Location: Wirral
Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm - 6:00pm (15 hours per week)
Rate of Pay: £16.25 per hour

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced School Cleaner to join our team at a school in the Wirral. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the school site, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas

• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting as required

• Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly

• Replenishing cleaning supplies and reporting low stock

• Following health & safety and COSHH guidelines at all times

• Ensuring cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard within allocated time

Essential Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience (school or commercial setting preferred)

• Willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS check

• Willingness to provide satisfactory references

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy

• Awareness of hygiene and cleanliness standards
