Pay Rate: £16.25 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm - 5:00pm or 3:00pm - 6:00pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
About the Roles:
We are currently recruiting School Cleaners for multiple schools across Leyland, Chorley, and Preston. Each site requires one dedicated candidate, so we are looking to fill several positions. These are part-time, term-time roles, ideal for reliable and hardworking individuals who take pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment for pupils and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out daily cleaning tasks across classrooms, corridors, toilets, offices, and communal areas.
Empty bins, sweep, mop, vacuum, polish, and replenish supplies as required.
Ensure all cleaning is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety and COSHH regulations.
Report any maintenance or safety issues to the Site Supervisor or Business Manager.
Work independently or as part of the site team to ensure the school is clean, safe, and well-presented.
Requirements:
Previous cleaning experience (school or commercial preferred).
Good knowledge of health & safety procedures.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply.
A strong work ethic and attention to detail.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
