Job Title: School Cleaner
Location: Preston Area
Pay Rate: £16.25 per hour
Hours: 15 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 3:00pm - 6:00pm)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join our team in the Preston area. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Clean classrooms, corridors, toilets, offices, and communal areas.
• 
  Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
• 
  Empty bins and dispose of rubbish appropriately.
• 
  Clean and sanitise desks, chairs, and other surfaces.
• 
  Ensure toilets and washrooms are maintained to a high standard.
• 
  Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet roll, and paper towels.
• 
  Report any maintenance or health & safety issues to the Site Manager.
• 
  Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and cleaning protocols at all times.

Requirements:

• 
  Previous cleaning experience (essential).
• 
  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• 
  Good attention to detail and reliability.
• 
  Must hold an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one before starting.
• 
  Commitment to maintaining a safe environment for children and young people.
