School Catering Assistant - Fulwood
£16.25 per hour
Monday to Friday, 10:00am-2:00pm

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic School Catering Assistant to join a friendly team in a Fulwood-based school. The ideal candidate will have previous catering experience in a school or similar environment and be confident working in a busy kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals

• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety at all times

• Support with kitchen cleaning duties, including washing up and sanitising surfaces

• Help with setting up and clearing the dining area

• Follow school policies, dietary requirements, and portion guidelines

• Work collaboratively as part of a supportive catering team

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a school kitchen or similar catering setting

• Knowledge of food hygiene standards (Food Hygiene Certificate desirable)

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when required
