School Catering Assistant - Wirral
Location: Wirral
Hours: 10:00am - 2:00pm, Monday to Friday
Pay: £16.25 - £17.25 per hour
Start: ASAP

We're looking for Catering Assistants to join our welcoming school team in the Wirral. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy kitchen environment and contributing to a positive school atmosphere.

Key responsibilities:

• Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals

• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas

• Supporting the catering team with daily food service

• Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment (school experience desirable but not essential)

• A positive, reliable, and friendly attitude

• Ability to work as part of a team

• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
