Job Title: Temporary School Caretaker
Location: Bootle
Hours: Split shift - 7:00am-11:10am & 2:50pm-6:00pm, Monday to Friday
Contract Type: Temporary
About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth running of the school, maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for staff and students.
Key Responsibilities:
Opening and securing the school premises at the start and end of the day
Performing routine maintenance tasks and reporting any repairs needed
Ensuring the school environment is clean, safe, and well-maintained
Supporting staff with setting up rooms or equipment as required
Monitoring and maintaining health and safety standards throughout the school
Requirements:
Previous experience in a caretaking, facilities, or maintenance role preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable and punctual, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Basic DIY and maintenance skills are an advantage
