School Caretaker - Two Schools in Salford
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Split Shift - 6:30am-9:30am & 1:30pm-5:00pm
Pay: £16.50-£17.50 per hour (depending on experience)

We're looking for a reliable, proactive School Caretaker to support two schools based just one mile apart in Salford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in keeping school environments safe, clean, and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Opening up and locking both school sites each day

• Carrying out general caretaking and maintenance duties

• Ensuring the premises are safe, secure, and well-presented

• Supporting with site set-ups, deliveries, and minor repairs

Requirements:

• Previous caretaking or site management experience (ideally within a school setting)

• A practical, hands-on approach and strong attention to detail

• Flexibility to travel between two nearby sites

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
