School Caretaker - Wirral
Location: Various schools across the Wirral (you will be based at one site only)
Hours: Full-time (hours TBC)
Pay: £16.25 - £18.00 per hour
Start: ASAP

We're looking for experienced and reliable School Caretakers to provide site cover across several schools in the Wirral area. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining safe, clean, and welcoming school environments.

Key responsibilities:

• Opening and securing school buildings

• Carrying out general maintenance and repairs

• Ensuring health and safety standards are met

• Monitoring and maintaining site security

• Supporting with deliveries and setting up rooms for school activities

Requirements:

• Previous caretaker or facilities experience (school experience desirable)

• Good practical maintenance skills

• A proactive and flexible approach

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
