School-Based Support Worker
Location: Manchester
Contract: Full-time, ongoing
Pay Rate: £106 - £120 per day
Are you a compassionate and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs?
We're seeking a dedicated School-Based Support Worker to join a welcoming Primary SEN provision in Manchester, providing vital support to pupils with a range of special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN, including autism, learning difficulties, and communication needs.
Support the delivery of individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies.
Encourage pupils to develop independence, confidence, and social skills.
Assist with personal care and sensory needs when required.
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to ensure consistent support.
Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the classroom.
About You
Experience working with children with special educational needs, ideally in a primary school setting.
A patient, caring, and resilient approach.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
