About the Roles:
We are currently recruiting experienced School Administrators for multiple schools across Preston, Penwortham, Chorley, and Leyland. Each site requires one dedicated candidate, so we are looking to fill several full-time positions.
These roles are ideal for organised, professional, and approachable individuals who can thrive in a busy school office environment. You'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the school and ensuring smooth communication between staff, parents, and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and staff, providing a professional and welcoming service.
Manage incoming calls, emails, and general school correspondence efficiently.
Support with attendance recording, pupil data entry, and maintaining accurate school records.
Carry out general administrative tasks including filing, photocopying, and preparing documents.
Assist with organising school events, trips, and other operational needs.
Uphold confidentiality and follow safeguarding procedures at all times.
Work collaboratively with the wider school team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements:
Previous administration experience is essential.
Experience using SIMS or similar school management systems is desirable.
Previous experience working in a school office is preferred.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
A current enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
