An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Consultant Psychiatrist to step into a senior leadership role as Regional Medical Director. This post combines clinical responsibilities with strategic leadership, offering the chance to shape services and support medical teams across the region.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical and medical leadership across the region.
• Maintain high standards of care in line with GMC and legislative requirements.
• Lead on clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement.
• Chair regional medical meetings and promote best practice.
• Support and develop medical staff, fostering a culture of excellence.

Requirements:

• MB ChB (or equivalent) and full GMC registration.
• MRCPsych (or equivalent).
• Proven experience as a Senior Consultant Psychiatrist.
• Demonstrated leadership and management experience.
• Strong knowledge of mental health legislation and clinical governance.
