SEN Tutor - Primary (Liverpool)

Location: Liverpool

Contract Type: Temporary (Flexible Hours Available)
Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience

Spencer Clarke Group are recruiting SEN Tutors to support primary-aged children across Liverpool who require tailored, individualised learning support.

This role is ideal for tutors with experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties, or pupils who may be educated outside of mainstream settings.

The Role:

  • Deliver 1:1 tuition to primary-aged pupils with SEND.

  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs.

  • Support engagement, confidence and emotional regulation.

  • Plan and deliver sessions aligned with EHCP targets where applicable.

  • Work within primary schools, alternative provisions or community-based settings.

Requirements:

  • Experience tutoring or teaching primary-aged pupils with SEND.

  • Strong understanding of adaptive teaching and differentiated learning.

  • Patient, flexible and empathetic approach.

  • Teaching qualification, QTS, HLTA or tutoring experience preferred (not essential depending on background).
