Pay: £140-£240 per day (dependent on experience)

Spencer Clarke Group are working with a welcoming primary school in Birkenhead who are seeking a dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join their team on a full-time maternity cover basis starting after the Easter holidays.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher who can deliver engaging lessons and support pupils through an important stage of their Key Stage 2 learning. The successful candidate will work closely with the school team to ensure continuity of learning and maintain high standards in the classroom.


The Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching where required.

  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff.

  • Maintain strong classroom behaviour management and routines.

  • Participate in staff meetings, planning and wider school responsibilities.


Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.

  • Ability to create engaging and structured lessons.

  • A positive, proactive and adaptable approach to teaching.
