About the Role

We are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Preston who are seeking a dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher who enjoys delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupils' transition into Key Stage 2, and making a real impact on progress and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons aligned with the Year 3 national curriculum
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and wellbeing
• Assess, track, and support pupil progress effectively
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SEN staff, and the wider school team
• Communicate positively with parents and carers when required

About You

The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS (or be an ECT)
• Have experience teaching within KS2 (Year 3 experience desirable but not essential)
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and a nurturing teaching style
• Be committed, reliable, and enthusiastic about making a difference
• Be confident adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
