The Role

As a Pupil Support Worker, you will:

* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs
* Support children with SEMH, behavioural, or learning needs
* Promote positive behaviour strategies in line with school policy
* Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO
* Help pupils build confidence, resilience, and independence
* Support with pastoral care and emotional regulation

This role is ideal for someone who is calm, patient, and committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment for all pupils.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

* Has experience working with children or young people (school, youth work, care, coaching etc.)
* Has a strong understanding of behaviour management strategies
* Is confident supporting pupils with SEN, SEMH, or additional needs
* Builds positive, professional relationships easily
* Is reliable, proactive, and adaptable

A Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential. Relevant experience is key.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
