Spencer Clarke Group are working with a local authority in the East of England to appoint an Interim Public Realm Surveyor.
This is a hands-on role within an asset compliance team, focused on surveying, condition reporting, and maintaining accurate records across the portfolio. It would suit someone who is organised, self-sufficient, and comfortable planning site visits and managing their own workload.
Responsibilities
- Planning and scheduling your own site visits and survey activity
- Assessing the condition of building elements and recording findings accurately
- Producing clear reports and uploading data to internal systems
- Maintaining strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping
- Communicating effectively with residents and internal colleagues
- Supporting a safety-focused property improvement programme
About You
- Experience in building systems and general building surveying knowledge
- Able to work independently and manage your own diary
- Strong written reporting and record-keeping skills
- Confident communicating with residents and colleagues
- Good planning and organisational ability
- Comfortable using technology and internal systems to log survey data
