Salary Range: £54,584 - £64,085 (including paid school holidays) + excellent benefits
Contract Type: Full time (part-time hours considered)
Overview:
We're looking for an experienced and compassionate Psychologist to support schools across Warwickshire that work with children and young people presenting with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism, and associated learning differences. This is an opportunity to make a real impact by promoting psychological wellbeing and helping to create supportive, inclusive learning environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out psychological assessments and contribute to the development of effective, evidence-based interventions.
Work closely with school teams to shape and implement psychologically informed approaches across classrooms and pastoral settings.
Provide consultation, supervision, and reflective practice sessions for staff to strengthen understanding of SEMH and neurodiverse needs.
Collaborate with other professionals to ensure that each child's needs are understood and supported holistically.
Keep accurate documentation and actively engage in professional supervision and continuing development.
Essential Requirements:
HCPC-registered Psychologist (Educational, Clinical, Counselling, or Forensic).
Proven experience supporting children and young people with complex social, emotional, or developmental needs.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
A genuine commitment to safeguarding and promoting wellbeing.
Desirable:
Experience working within education or specialist SEMH settings.
Confidence in delivering training and workshops to staff teams.
