We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Teaching Assistants to join our team in Burnley. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting children's learning and development across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.
We have full-time and part-time positions available, and you will have the opportunity to choose your preferred year group to work with.
The ideal candidate will hold a relevant qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) and have experience working with children in a school or educational setting. Experience supporting pupils with SEN, SEMH, or challenging behaviour is highly desirable, as many of our schools value staff who can provide tailored support and promote positive learning outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting the class teacher with daily activities and lesson delivery
Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils with additional needs
Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learning
Assisting in classroom setup, displays, and resource preparation
Promoting a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all pupils
This role is ideal for someone patient, proactive, and passionate about making a difference in primary education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
