Primary Teaching Assistant

We are recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Primary Teaching Assistants to support schools across Burnley. Roles are available on a full-time or part-time basis, with the flexibility to choose your preferred age range - EYFS, KS1 or KS2.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a school setting or directly with children is essential

• A relevant qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 in Teaching and Learning or Childcare is preferred

• Experience supporting children with SEN, SEMH or behavioural needs is highly desirable

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

• A proactive, patient and compassionate approach to learning support

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
